Funke Akindele is currently sad and at loggerheads with those spreading wicked rumours about her marriage to Oloyede Al-Moroof. In fact, she recently came out to set the records straight and also dispel the rumours that have trailed her marriage since they tied the knot earlier in the year. In a brief chat with Entertainment Express, the Lagos State born heroine of hit flick, Jenifa, bared her mind on the true state of her much publicized five months old marriage. “My husband has never been married before,” she insists. Speaking further, Funke maintained that she remains the first and only wife of her husband and urges her teeming fans to turn deaf ears to the rumours currently circulating about her marriage. “I am the only woman he married. I was married properly. A lot of negative comments came from sadists who want to run their mouths. Fans who love me should not listen to them, that is my private life, why is my marriage such an issue?” she asked with anger in her voice. On the alleged children fathered by her husband, the actress who upped her game with the movie, The Return of Jenifa replied thus; “Yes, he has beautiful children, who are not mine and we have a cordial relationship, which dates back to even before we got married. So what if he has kids, is that a disease; is it what people will keep on talking about? It happens every day, just because it is Funke, everybody is talking about it”. The award winning thespian added that her marriage is personal and she is happy about it. “I married Oloyede myself, I am happy, I didn’t marry him for any body’s sake.
