While Nigerians are yet to unravel the mystery behind late lyricist, Dagrin’s gloomy hit track, “If I Die” where he predicted his own death, it has emerged that two of the four murdered undergraduates of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) may have predicted their in a rap song.
At the time when the two rising rappers, Big L and Tipsy recorded a song entitled Heart of the City, little did they know that they were predicting their own death.
“Growing up in the city of PH, where wrong were seen right, walking through the city all I see is hell” goes a line from the rap song. The rap song drips with innuendoes about the level of hostility in the city of Port Harcourt where they all call home.
The late upcoming talents also recorded a couple of songs like Follow me Dance, Rap Retribution, which have also been released online. Close friends of the late rappers have disclosed that they were working on a mixtape entitled The Truth at the time of their untimely death.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Police Force has announced the arrest of the alleged mastermind behind the killing of the four UNIPORT students in the Aluu community of Rivers State.
The suspect’s name which was given as Cozson Lerebori Lucky, also known as Bright was alleged to have raised the false alarm which led to the mob action and the eventual death of the students.
Twenty-one other people have so far been arrested and the IG of Police has ordered an inquest into the alleged movement of Police men and have also promised to bring to book any officer found involved in killing
